Universal Stove & Hob Energy Regulating Switch – 7 Terminal – 6mm Shaft
The Universal Stove & Hob Energy Regulating Switch is a replacement control switch designed for selected electric stoves, hobs, cookers and hotplates. It regulates the heat output of a compatible cooking plate or heating element by cycling the electrical supply on and off according to the user’s selected setting.
This switch is suitable for replacing a faulty, worn or damaged energy regulator that no longer controls heat correctly, leaves the plate stuck on full heat, fails to heat at all or operates intermittently.

Important Diagnostic Note
A cooking plate that does not heat correctly does not automatically have a faulty regulating switch. The hotplate or element, selector switch, thermostat, wiring and terminal connections must also be checked.
If the original switch has heat-damaged or burnt terminals, inspect and repair the wiring connectors before installing the replacement. Loose or burnt terminals can damage the new switch.
