Samsung Washing Machine Inlet Valve – DC97-15459P

The Samsung DC97-15459P water inlet valve assembly controls the flow of water into compatible top-loading washing machines. Its four solenoid coils open the required water paths when signalled by the appliance, helping the washer fill during the wash and rinse stages.

This assembly has two threaded water-supply inlets with filter screens and an integrated mounting body. It is a replacement for a correctly diagnosed inlet-valve fault; it is not a universal valve for every Samsung washing machine.

Common Symptoms This Part May Fix

Before Replacing the Valve

Check the water taps, supply pressure, inlet hoses and filter screens first. Filling problems can also be caused by wiring, the water-level sensing system or the electronic controller. Replacing the valve will not correct a fault elsewhere in the appliance.

Important Fitment Note

Match DC97-15459P and the full model suffix on your appliance label. Compare the connector positions, outlet arrangement, mounting points and voltage with the original valve. Similar-looking valves with different final letters are not automatically interchangeable. The confirmed models are listed separately below.
