Important Diagnostic Note
A microwave that operates without heating does not automatically have a faulty magnetron. The high-voltage transformer or inverter board, high-voltage capacitor, diode, fuse, door switches, control board and associated wiring must also be tested.
A shorted capacitor, diode or transformer may damage a replacement magnetron or cause the appliance fuse to blow again. Diagnose the complete high-voltage circuit before installation.
