The Samsung Refrigerator Water Filter DA29-00020B is a replacement internal filter cartridge designed for selected Samsung refrigerators with plumbed water dispensers and automatic ice makers. It filters the incoming water supply before the water reaches the dispenser and ice-making system.

Replacement and Installation Note

Turn off the refrigerator water supply where required. Remove the old cartridge by turning it to the unlocked position, insert the replacement filter and rotate it until securely locked into place.

After installation, flush several litres of water through the dispenser to remove trapped air and loose carbon particles. Reset the refrigerator's filter indicator according to the appliance user manual.

Important Fitment Note

Samsung refrigerators use several different internal water-filter designs. Before ordering, confirm that the original cartridge is marked DA29-00020B, HAF-CIN or HAF-CIN/EXP and compare the locking head, locating tabs, cartridge dimensions and installation position with the original filter.

Do not confuse this filter with Samsung HAFIN2, HAF-QIN or other Samsung filter types. These cartridges use different locking arrangements and are not automatically interchangeable.

Filter lifespan may vary depending on water quality, water pressure and household usage. Replace the cartridge sooner if water flow, taste or odour deteriorates.
