Defy Tumble Dryer Flat Drum Belt – 40 × 1580mm
The Defy Tumble Dryer Flat Drum Belt is a replacement drive belt designed for selected Defy tumble dryers. The belt wraps around the dryer drum and drive system, transferring rotation from the motor to the drum during the drying programme.
This part helps restore normal drum movement when the original belt has become stretched, worn, cracked, damaged or broken. A faulty drum belt may cause the motor to run while the drum remains stationary, resulting in clothes that remain damp and do not tumble correctly.

Important Fitment Note

For the DTD236 model, this belt is suitable only for the older white version. Later versions may use a different belt and drive arrangement.
Inspect the motor pulley, drum surfaces, tensioning system and supporting components before installing the new belt. A seized pulley or stiff drum may quickly damage the replacement belt.
