The Samsung Washing Machine Hall Sensor DC31-00076A is a replacement motor rotor-position sensor designed for selected Samsung direct-drive washing machines and washer-dryers. This sensor monitors the movement, direction and rotational speed of the motor rotor.
The Hall sensor sends motor feedback information to the washing machine control board, allowing the appliance to control the drum accurately during washing, tumbling and spinning. A faulty sensor may cause the drum to jerk, fail to rotate, stop during a programme or display a motor-related error code.
