LG Washing Machine Hall Sensor – 6501KW2001A
The LG Washing Machine Hall Sensor 6501KW2001A is a replacement motor rotor-position sensor designed for selected LG direct-drive washing machines and washer-dryers. This sensor is fitted to the motor stator and monitors the position, direction and rotational speed of the motor rotor.
The Hall sensor sends motor movement information to the washing machine control board, allowing the appliance to control the drum accurately during washing, tumbling and spinning. A faulty sensor may cause the drum to jerk, fail to rotate, stop during a programme or display a motor-related error code.
